Groupon Shallac mani and spa pedi.
The atmosphere was ok, there were only two people working so it was quite.
The pedi could be better, but wasn't terrible either. I enjoyed talking to the nail tech. The sander they use was pretty cool. The chairs were not the comfy ones I've been in before.
This was my first Shallac mani and I don't think the product they use is true "shallac"... It doesn't soak off in 100% acetone as it should... in fact I soaked for 30 minutes and the color didn't budge at all!
I had asked the girl how to get it off and she said I could come in and for $5 she could "blast it off", I wasn't interested in losing layers of my natural nail just for a polish change -but I had no choice and did it as gently as I could myself...
There was no real "manicure" either, my cuticles were not pushed back which makes the color looked grown out faster.
I'm trying another place to save my nails next color... If they had better products (I did notice they might be shopping at Sally's instead of the pro shops) I might have returned.
