  • I moved into this complex about 6 months ago. The apartment is alright. I had to put down cabinet liner in the kitchen because the cabinets are cheap and dirty. The paint on the molding throughout the apartment is about an inch above where the molding stops. And they also painted over the dust an hair that accumulated on the molding from previous renters rather than cleaning them first. The grounds are nice, I love the pool and landscaping. The gates to get in have been broken for months now and as soon as they fix it they break a day or two later. I have also seen spray paint on the map and call box at the gate that took forever for them to clean. The cable that is "included in your rent" is actually billed separately every month listed as Maa connect on your bill. This is mandatory so even if you do not watch tv you are stuck paying for it. They only offer one internet provider which is century link. I have had issues where the Internet is slow or stops working. I wish I had a choice to choose a provider that I like. And they seem to nickel and dime you for everything. Overall I was satisfied living here until today. I have paid my rent on time every month and last night I logged on and paid my rent after work. Today I logged onto my email and saw that I did not receive a confirmation email regarding my payment so I decided to log into my account to check. My rent showed as not being paid and there was also a 50 dollar late charge. I immediately paid it and called them afterwards. I spoke with the office staff who are pretty rude at times. I explained my situation and the women stated, "well if I was you I would have checked my email right after you submitted your payment. An email is sent automatically as soon as you submit a payment." I explained that I was tired from working and never had a problem before so I didn't feel the need to check it. She said that she would look in their system to check if I logged in and submitted a payment that failed and put me on hold. She got back on the phone and stated that there was no record that I logged on yesterday. I asked if I showed my internet history of that would prove anything and she said she could look into it. When I called to check on the status I spoke to another lady who was very standoffish. She stated that they were very busy and are looking into it. When I asked to speak to the girl from earlier she denied me stating that she was unavailable. I asked if sending over my bank account info showing that the funds were available yesterday of that would help and she told me no. All I can think is if they pulled this with every single renter at some point during there lease they'd be rich! Beware of this apartment complex. I can easily say that I will not be renewing my lease here.
