  • What a fun time!!! When reading past reviews, it's hard for me to tell which version of the Sci Fi center is being reviewed as it's had three locations that I know of. (2 on east Sahara and the current is off west Trop on Arville). I'm not nearly as knowledgable about these "geek" genres as most of the comic con attending crowd but I love film and that's why I attended...and boy am I glad that I did! The screen was surprisingly large and I was really surprised that theater style stadium seating was present as well! This definitely has a gritty indie/grindhouse type feel and that's exactly why I liked it so much! The proprietor, William, was really friendly and I'm glad that there are people like him putting on events like this. I attended the Italian horror double feature and will definitely be back! I'm pretty sure this is the closest thing to a grindhouse that exists in the valley...and even if not, I'll still come back here!
