This was a pretty terrible experience, to be honest. I showed up to the place with my pregnant girlfriend who also had an appointment. They lost the form from her obstetrician allowing her to receive a dental exam first, then the woman at the front desk had issues with our insurance, after that was figured out the office manager comes out and unprofessionally rants about the girl at the front while apologizing to us. After my x-rays, I was brought into an exam room where I sat and waited for roughly 30-45 minutes. The doctor finally came in and poked at my teeth for a couple minutes then told me I needed a cap on one tooth and a night guard. I sit there for another 15 minutes. The office manager comes back, tells me some story about some show she went to the night before when all of a sudden, water began leaking from the ceiling onto the computer and onto me. The OM then apologized and asked me to walk up front. When I go up front she then asks me to wait in the waiting room. Another woman at the front desk then gave me a quote of $600 for the recommended work, i then asked about my cleaning and was told I wouldn't be receiving a cleaning because the hygienist (who was cleaning my girlfriends teeth) was supposed to leave at noon (it was 12:15)
I've never had such a terrible experience or been treated so poorly as a patient. I then called a few minutes later after venting to my girlfriend and they told me they called me earlier that morning to move my dentist appointment up so I could receive a cleaning. Which was a complete lie, I never received a phone call.
I highly recommend you try a different location. My girlfriend had nothing but nice things to say about the Ahwatukee location from previous visits.
