  • My husband and I were having A/C issues with our 2011 avenger, my husband suspected our condenser needed to be replaced so prior to finding Quality Star we drove down the street to Big O to confirm if our condenser did need to be replaced. They informed us our condenser was fine and it was the compressor that needed to be replaced because the clutch wasn't catching and would cost almost 2k. We knew it wasn't our compressor so we decided to get a second professional opinion and stumbled upon Robbie's shop. Robbie and his team at Quality Star are top notch mechanics, friendly people, honest, very reasonable and were quick to help. Robbie confirmed our compressor was fine and our condenser did indeed need to be replaced due to a leak (mind you we never mentioned anything about our condenser and only told him what Big O had told us about or compressor). Since we were on a super tight budget my husband and I decided to replace the condenser at home instead, but because we appreciated robbies honesty and friendly service we did go back to Quality Star to have an evac and recharge done after replacing our condenser. Quality was the most affordable place we found that would do the evac and recharge. Long story short we got a free A/C check and a pretty good deal on the evac and recharge. These guys are honest and hardworking, no frills, just straightforward service.
