  • As a long term resident of this city, I've had numerous interactions with contractors and their staff members. I've never had such a positive experience as I've had with J or J Welder. My wife and I decided we wanted our entryway to be enclosed with decorative ironwork. We reviewed and visited a number of companies, but found their offerings to be limited and in some cases, very costly. We were referred to J or J by a neighbor who is pleased with the work conducted by them. Jorge visited our home, provided numerous options and estimated a fair price. I indicated we would not be able to pursue the job as we required a refinishing of the stamped concrete in the entry. Jorge possesses a masonry license and he indicated his staff could do the job. Again, he gave a fair price. Within two days, his crew arrived and completed the job in three visits. The outcome is better than the original work that was done four years ago. Jorge kept us informed of the progress of the project and again visited our home to review the drawings of the work and ask if we had any changes to our request. He was very amenable to the changes we requested. As the project progressed, Jorge asked us to visit his business to view the work. We were given a tour of the facility and met the majority of this staff members. The facility is well organized, clean and the staff members have great pride in their efforts. On the day of the installation, Miguel, the company's painter, and Chris, his assistant, arrived in a timely manner and worked in a professional, client oriented manner. Any questions we had were answered and Miguel and Chris put extra effort in seeing we were satisfied with the project. Jorge came by to assure the project was progressing as we had agreed. The fabrication of the ironwork is outstanding and the staff should be commended. Miguel's is a talented painter/artist whose work is beautiful. Chris, the newest employee, indicated the company employees have a saying, "Make and install the ironworks as if it is being placed on our own home". The entryway ironwork is outstanding. I highly recommend J or J ironworks and consider Jorge one of the most professional, honest contractors I've had the pleasure of working with.
