Went camping here over Labor Day weekend. It was not a good experience from the minute we pulled up. The lady working the camp store was smoking a cigarette outside and extremely rude to us. After setting up our tent, we went back to the camp store to purchase firewood. We weren't able to see the wood until after we paid and went to a shed across the way. The wood was cut very weird, not like normal firewood. When we got it back to the site, we opened it to find that the wood was so soggy that black mold was beginning to grow on some of the pieces! I tried to get a fire started anyway, and the wet wood wouldn't light. When I brought the wood back and asked for a refund, I was denied. Supposedly they aren't allowed to give refunds on firewood, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY SOLD ME WET FIREWOOD WITHOUT MY BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BEFORE PURCHASING!!!!!! That made me quite upset, as I had spent almost $10 on it, and was already on a tight budget. It was overall a bad experience. The sites are very small and completely overpriced for what you get. I will NOT be returning.
