  • I've used Banfield pet hospital through Petsmart for a few years now, soley because I travel and move often. While in Vegas, my friend referred me to west Charleston animal hospital and I couldn't be happier. Needless to say, I will never go back to banfield!! I got a puppy a few weeks ago and brought the puppy to west Charleston animal hospital where dr kempf did a wellness exam and puppy shots. He really seemed like he cared about my pet and shared stories about his dogs that he has at home. The girls at the front desk even seemed to care about the puppy as well and the price was extremely affordable. Unfortunately, about a week later, my other dog at home got injured and required a trip to the vet. West Charleston animal hospital saw us immediately that morning. I was so scared but dr tomkovich made me and my boyfriend feel at ease after my dog required a procedure involving anesthesia, and the price was very affordable once again. They took really good care of my dog and made sure all of our questions were answered when we picked her up to take her home. They even called the next morning to check on how my dog was doing and genuinely sounded like they cared over the phone. I am extremely pleased with this animal hospital and the staff. We had a great experience even in the event of a dog injury. I will recommend this vet to anyone and will continue to go there!
