Today I stopped to look at the new Velosters . Haven't been to a dealership since I worked for one 35 years ago. Times must have changed or this dealership is rich in sales. Two sales guys who were standing out front couldn't be bothered to ask if I needed assistance. I lingered longer and looked at their lineup of cars for 30 minutes. It was now1030 in the morning so maybe it was busy time for them, you know with other customers that weren't there. When I was leaving I saw a guy walking in from the street who looked liked a salesman and was. I said to him I was interested in putting 10,000 down and financing the rest on a 2016 Veloster. I was also going to trade in my 2010 Elantra touring which he told me they need more of. Well I guess times are good in car sales land. This salesman couldn't have cared less about getting me into one of those Velosters. He didnt even offer me a business card. It's one thing to be pestered by sales when you arrive at a dealership but I didn't think I'd be bothered by being ignored. Maybe I looked like I couldn't afford one.The search goes on.
