I was transferred to Chandler Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 and eventually discharged on Friday, July 10, 2015 after having spinal surgery. I was admitted because of sciatica pain which I dealt with and overcame in 2008 and 2009 after doing conventional treatment of physical therapy.
Due to the nerve pain I was experiencing with this onset of sciatica (and my MRI results) the Neurosurgeon recommended the surgery. I was apprehensive and wanted a second opinion. I was able to talk to both Neurosurgeons (Dr. Kaibara was the surgeon who eventually did my surgery). He was so great about answering my questions and putting me at ease before the surgery. Dr Kaibara (and his assistants) and Dr Babbar were the doctors who checked me and discharged me after surgery. They and their staff were all excellent.
Additionally, there were so many helpful and patient nurses at the hospital that helped me along every step of the way. I may not have all their names but I do want to thank: Arley, Felicia, Stephanie, Dana, Danielle and anyone else who I missed. Thanks again!
