I had heard such great things about Crepe Expectations and was disappointed with our experience.
We went for brunch on Sunday which might have been the first mistake. It was packed, and there is no place to stand during your wait except outside in the heat. It didn't take too long to get seated, but then we had to share one table with 2 other parties which wasn't ideal and kind of awkward.
After we had ordered, it took about 15 minutes for them to bring my husband's diet coke to the table. And you have to go get the water yourself with paper cups. On top of that, it is so full in the tiny location that you bump into a few people just to get to the water.
The worst part is how terribly hot the location is in the summer. People were fanning themselves waiting for food and we were sweating. The staff said that the grills are so hot and the door keeps opening and closing because of the patio that they cannot keep it cool even after having someone check the AC a few times. I guess there is nothing that can be done about it in this location, but it's kind of miserable.
Overall, the food was really good and reasonably priced. But we were so hot, we couldn't even sit there and enjoy it because we just wanted to get to the air conditioning. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I can find good food somewhere where there is air conditioning and we have our own table.
