  • Let me first say, if it was not for a work function I would never come here. Everything that could go wrong for them, went wrong. They now have 150+ people who will never visit their establishment again. First off, we came in and their computers were down. That they can't help. What they could have done however, was anticipate 150 people arriving from a very big company. They had no back up plan. The staff were rude and impatient. They could have handed out some water, brought luggage tags over so we could store our belongings, etc. they could have had us fill out the paperwork for our rooms so once we got to the front of the line it could be expedited but instead they did everything on paper with ineffectiveness. Again, that would be expected since systems were down. They truly need to work on effectiveness. They could have had us filling out what they needed to streamline their process. We needed to attend a conference so I dropped off my things at the bellhop (which was another line I needed to wait in after waiting in line for 30 minutes to NOT get checked in). The rooms were typical, no complaints here. Except for the fact that many of my peers were given rooms with guests already in them, one person found cockroaches in her room and we were spread across all over the grounds of this establishment. Again anticipating 150 people were coming in (which the conference has been planned and booked months in advance). They could have kept us all in one area so it would make out trek to the conference rooms easier. The food during my 3 day conference was terrible. I barely ate and even when we were eating, I felt rushed. The staff would clear up as soon as they gave us our food. Dinner was completed and the man came and took all the salt and pepper shakers off the table even before dessert came out. Some people were still finishing up their dinners when they did this. He couldn't wait for after we were done to clear the table? Literally, there were so pmany things that went wrong I can't even possibly write this all in. There is one last thing I do want to mention. The last day of the conference, they again did not anticipate 150 people needing to leave to catch flights. They only had 10 cabs available. 10x4 to a cab = 40 people!!! 150 was what they should have anticipated!!!! After waiting a hour and 10 minutes, I finally got on a cab. Not to mention, I don't think one person from their staff was cordial or welcoming to us. We all work in customer service and this establishment needs to go back to training or hire some effective team members. I will say it always start from the top. The management should have been on point here to ensure a seamless experience for us but they failed terribly. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back here on my own dime which is a terrible loss for Green Valley because if they know anything about customer experience, each person with a negative experience tells 5-8 people. With social media (and all systems are up here) ... You get the point. Tsk. Tsk.
