  • Came across this site via NOW magazine. I've used it twice ordering from Caplansky's and Salad King. I've found it to be WAY better than comparable sites - Order It and Just Eat. I found Just Eat really frustrating and their selection of restaurants and service totally unimpressive and underwhelming. In comparison, Hurrier hit all the essential aspects. A really trendy and delicious selection of restaurants. I find this really important, as comparable sites often seem to have NO filter, resulting in subpar food, subpar service and ridiculous prices for the food given. Hurrier's list of restaurants is totally attractive and perfectly suits the downtown crowd. It really helps to interrogate the idea of delivery food as subpar. I was really happy to find downtown favourites, a good selection of hot meals, meals for all types of dietary and lifestyle needs - making it feel like you didn't have to settle for gross food just because you wanted delivery. There was amazing integration of email (consistent updates to let you know when the courier has picked up your items and when they reach drop off point) which I found really useful. I loved that everything could be done via website including tip. Pretty much when the courier arrives at your door you just grab the food from them (really good for avoiding awkward/prolonged interactions at your front door). The couriers are polite and really, really speedy. Best of all, the orders are done right. So far my orders have been correct, the timing has been accurate, and upon arrival none of the items affected/leaking/etc. My only suggestion would be a feature that would either sort restaurants by food type or would offer descriptions of restaurants in addition to logo. So far the site relies upon brand recognition/recognizing the logo, so I found it a bit annoying to have to click through to learn what each restaurant was about if I didn't know all the names well. But I'm guessing the site has done it the way it did because it is still building its restaurant list and may not have the volume to warrant a search/filter option. Other than that, I am definitely a fan of Hurrier and this is now my go-to site for deliveries! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a fast, delicious, inspiring meal!
