  • Awesome experience at Lighten Up! I went in for laser hair removal of my underarms and Brazilian areas. Hatti was lovely. She made me feel welcome and comfortable. I had a previously had my legs lasered at another establishment, which left my legs pretty fuzzy even after 6 treatments. Hatti was happy to discuss the different types of lasers, and why I might have had that experience. I could tell she really knew her stuff! I was definitely reassured that I would have more success this time around. We started by doing an assessment of my skin type to determine what laser treatment would be appropriate. Then she left while I changed to make the treatment areas accessible. She began the treatment by doing a test on my underarm- I didn't even know anything had happened, it was totally painless. Next she did the Brazilian. This was a bit more painful, but nothing worse than waxing, and the pain dissipated immediately. The laser treatment took no more than 10-15 minutes. All considered, the appointment was great! I am excited to update after the 6th session.
