| - So one of the stops on my trip with mom, who was visiting me, was Las Vegas. Originally I had my eye set on a different hotel, which is not far from The Linq, but since I was on a budget a little, I found this, which was cheaper by about $50/night in the middle of the week. And, boy, I go what I paid for!!.
After first excitement at the desk, where I was told that we got a free upgrade for a suite room, things went straight down south.
This "suite room" was located on a second floor, size-wise it would fit into my one-bedroom apartment, mirrors and glass in the bathroom were all smudgy, though the rest was fairly clean, but then this...I wanted to look out of the window and I was looking at not just the concrete by the pool, we had pool loungers stacked up right in front of the window!!! What a view!!! And then at night we heard not just noises from the hallway but it felt like we were at the train station because that little monorail seemed to ride right by our room.
So for me...this was my first and also last stay at this hotel.
Next time I'll listen to my instincts and go somewhere else.
