| - I ordered a simple custom McDouble from the kiosk - of which I am wary as it is, because I know that the usual rude and largely incompetent staff at this particular location have a difficult time with custom orders.
I added two patties to my McDouble to make it 4 patties in total (That is, I paid $1.79 + $1.00 per patty = $3.79 + tax. At the kiosk, where there is no chance for confusion. I paid more than $4.00 after tax and my receipt said "Add 2 Patty." That's it - regular pickles, regular mayo, regular everything. Just put on two extra patties. Printed clearly on the receipt.
About 15 minutes later - while the location was nearly empty at 9pm on a Sunday night - I received a McDouble with 2 patties total. So, a regular McDouble. I went back to replace it, and after some rude stares and remarks about custom orders they added a patty to my McDouble (they did not make me a new one).
So I now received my OLD McDouble with three patties in total, when I paid for four. I went back again, and they AGAIN added a patty to my now 30-minute old McDouble, letting half the already miserable quantity of lettuce provided in this sandwich fall out and smearing the wrapper with mayonnaise! That's right, they unwrapped my burger, slapped on a patty, and sloppily wrapped it back up... in the same wrapper.
At that point I simply took it and left, because to have received my order properly would have cost me much more stress than it's worth.
I just want to emphasize in particular that I love McDonald's, their policies, their food, and service. This particular location is an absolute, unacceptable disappointment. I will no longer support this location, nor will my friends, family, or followers of my blog.
