  • I've heard a lot of positive talk of this place throughout this entire summer from friends and other peers. They would often recommend it as the best shave ice place in the Las Vegas. Finally, I was able to try it out yesterday to see what the hype was about. The menus provide combos that you can choose for your snow cream, but you can make your own combination as well. You can choose the I got the mini strawberry snow cream with strawberries, cheesecake bites, M&Ms, and condensed milk. That aspect like choosing the toppings at your favorite frozen yogurt place. If you're coming here expecting to have shave ice, like I was, I would like to say first off that snow cream consistency is not shave ice at all. It is actually somewhere in the middle between shave ice and ice cream. Though I enjoyed the creamy texture, I felt like the actual flavor of the snow cream was weak - I tasted more toppings than the snow cream in the first few bites. Once the toppings were all gone, the snow cream was a bit bland - the flavor felt more like a subtle hint. Overall, though I do applaud the place as becoming a hangout of sorts, I wouldn't see myself coming back here again. Honestly, Kuma Snow Cream is overhyped.
