  • At first I was relatively impressed with Dr Denise Sackett. She has a good bedside manner and seemed fairly forward thinking. But over the three years I was with her practice, I became increasingly frustrated with her requiring office visits for EVERYTHING. I even had one of her office staff members comment once (under her breath) how excessive the office's policy was requiring office visits. For example, I was traveling out of state for a month and had lab work done right before I left. I got a call from a nurse a few days later telling me that my calcium and vitamin D were low, but that I would need to make an appt with the dr to discuss the results. When I asked her why they couldn't tell me the dosage of vitamin supplements to take over the phone she said that the dr insisted that I make an appt. When I explained that I would be out of state for another 3 1/2 weeks, the nurse told me to establish care with a dr there to discuss the lab results. I was so upset that I called to complain to the dr. Of course I had to leave a message with her front desk. When the office staff called back it was to tell me what dosage of vitamin D supplement to take and tell me that the dr insisted I discuss calcium supplements with her at an office visit. My honest thoughts are that the medical practice is hurting and so that's why they insist on unnecessary office visits. My parents went to this practice, too, at one point and were shocked by the unnecessary tests that were ordered that were not covered by insurance. Would not recommend this practice to ANYONE!!!
