The purchasing experience started off well with Javier doing a great job helping me select furniture to completely outfit the apartment.
The bad experience and poor customer service occurred next, screwing around for days with the warehouse / delivery of items 100% in stock and the people that answer related phones at the company.
The company did not honor a request for delivery times. In the most recent case ( my fourth attempt to have my stuff delivered), they told me my delivery window was 3 - 7 pm, take it or leave it. AND they charge $299 for delivery. Can you believe that!
The day before the scheduled delivery I received a text at 2 pm asking to confirm my 3 - 7 pm delivery. I replied before 6 pm. The furniture did not show up the next day. I called and they said they have a 5 pm cutoff for texts. Why didn't the text message indicate there was a cut off!?!?!? They said you can come and pick it up yourself. Can you believe that. Over $5k worth of furniture, a two bed apartment worth. Tough luck.
I have tried to reach the manager of the store and haven't ben able to get through. I asked the person I spoke with for Friday late morning delivery and to be first on the truck knowing they have a 11 - 3 pm window. Let's see what happens this time. I can't sit around an empty apartment waiting. I have a job, for crying out loud.
