Would give this dealership a 0 rating if I could. Also I will never recommend anyone here or ever buy anything from Jack Carter again. They used bullying tactics to try to rip off a senior (my dad) - TWICE!
They agreed on the verbal offer over the phone and made an appt to come in - sales guy couldn't even bother to see my dad but sent someone else in his place (intentional sales tactic). Dad wanted $350 monthly payments and they did it...by stretching out his term from 60 to 72 months and not telling him that he didn't qualify for 0% interest promo (due to age bank would only approve nearly 6%!).
Currently they have a Bonus tag event where all cars get $1500 off and they weren't going to give that to him (but were going to make him sign off on it).
In our discussions, First guy told me family has nothing to do with this and I was making it personal when it's strictly business. 2nd guy turned to me and my hubby and asked who we were (which is none of his business if my dad wanted us there). He also tried telling my dad the details he heard the sales guy relay on the phone to my dad (doesn't matter what my dad had heard himself). He also tried telling us a verbal agreement was legal and binding. Then they couldn't prove they had anything signed ... and oh what were they ever going to do with a car they just installed 3M on and put the Weather mats in it already?!? (Their own risk basing it off a verbal phone call)
And finally AFTER signing everything, they handed keys over and left us to our own. Came over after to see if there was an issue as we were sitting in the lot for awhile but I told them it's because I was so busy doing their job showing my dad how to use the car!
