I just had a wonderful experience getting a mani, pedi, and facial at Rockabetty's. They did a wonderful job doing my nails, toe nails and facial.
If you go to Rockabetty's know a couple things:
1) Rockabetty's has been in business for just over a year which means (for those of you who have never ran your own business): Do they have a big fancy salon? No. Are they in the perfect location? No. Are they looking to move to a better location? Yes. Do they have the latest and greatest technology? No. Are they a hoity-toity spa? No. Does the owner really care what you think of her appearance? Probably not. Should you really care about her appearance? Probably not, don't you have better things to worry about? Are their techniques different? Yes. Are they trying new techniques to get the best quality results for their clients? Yes. Are they trying to deal with a massive surge of customers due to the Groupon deal? Yes. Are making mistakes an learning from them just like any of you would if you launched your first business? Yes. Are they a small business just getting started trying to make ends meet that's doing the best they can with what they got? Yes.
2) Rockabetty's is a rockabilly style salon. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this term, google it. It's not the typical salon going clientele. It is for people who have a funky/wild/retro side to them. If that isn't your cup o tea then Rockabetty's is not the place for you (See hoity-toity spa question). I personally don't consider myself a Rockabilly but I am far cry from a girly-girl. I ride motorcycles (just like the owner) & I have lots of tattoos, but sometimes a girl has to spoil herself and this is just the place to do it.
