  • I have used this dentist about 3 or 4 times now and each time was tormented with high pressure sales, annoyances with bills, insurance mishandling, and last was rescheduled LITERALLY 4 times!!--I couldn't make this up, they are really THAT incompetent! Making matters worse after THEY requested I reschedule 4 times, they were 45 minutes late for this 4 times rescheduled event. Once I got into the dental area the high pressure marketing and up sales started. Dr. Klaus came in and was very affable, however after (seriously) an 'exam' of 1 minute (I timed this) he declared my teeth and gums as 'terrific' but told me I needed to have all of my older fillings replaced (there is NOTHING wrong with any of my fillings). Once his staff heard this pitch I had 3 other people from this office try to talk me into the filling replacement with one gal telling me horrific stories and threats of needing root canals in the future, etc.. These doctors are very 'enterprising', and are always pitching some new marketing scheme.. There are monthly raffles, movie tickets to events, raffles for barbecue grills, and last the 'black cards'. Yes, they are relentless in this practice. They were not successful in getting me to replace all of my fillings in this routine cleaning/visit so they instead stuck a bunch of black cards in my hand telling me to give one to each of my family, friends, relatives and neighbors where if they booked an appointment and showed the card, I could be possibly entered into a raffle. Tell me, what really good dentists do this or need to do this?!! In my observation/opinion, this business is overstaffed with too many inexperienced, unseasoned staff that I am sure is costing this practice an arm and a leg that is now forcing the dentists to engage in these gimmicky practices schlocky practices that have now caused me to mistrust their work and dental advice..I am afraid to go back here due to what they will try to sell/pressure/do next. This is disheartening, disgusting and is unethical in my view. Shame on you Paradise Ridge Dentistry! I'm sure after they see this they will 'lose' my records so they cannot be transferred, we'll see how low they can go.
