  • I was pretty disappointed when I tried Mint about a month ago. I LOVE Indian cuisine, it is one of my favorite foods when going out to eat, I pick it over almost anything else. There are a lot of good Indian restaurants in the area, and one absolutely incredible one. But Mint, I wouldn't even call it fair. It's not true Indian cuisine. It's in the horribly ghetto parking lot near Mr. Beijing on Flamingo, but the restaurant itself inside is extremely nice and clean, only reason it's getting two stars. The service is absolutely horrendous, some of the worst service I've had at any restaurant in the Las Vegas area. I always go to Indian restaurants at lunch because of their lunch buffets which is nice so you can experience many different foods rather than just one entree, and its generally a really good deal. Mint had the same sort of setup, so I began at the buffet. The options here were really really weird, there were some Asian inspired choices and everything seemed very Americanized, not your traditional Indian restaurant. I remained optimistic. The food was not good, no spice, no real flavor in their tikka masala/butter chicken. The naan was absolutely horrendous, worst naan I've had. How can you mess up bread? Super weird. The guy at the cashier was so rude and barely acknowledged my presence. Will definitely not be back.
