  • Ooh La La! Scottsdale has a new flower in the garden, and its a Ruze (Czech for rose)! What a delightful find in the happening downtown arts district. I consider an almond croissant somewhat of a standard when evaluating a bakery and this place is on point. Perfectly light, layered and delicate with a generous amount of the most delicious almond paste. I didn't try anything else from all the temptations (I should have) but I did buy all the almond croissants they had from behind that gorgeous copper and white counter. Tip: Get there early. The word is getting out on this place and they do occasionally seem to sell out of some items.
