  • A group of friends and I decided to try a new pho spot since our usual late night spot always has a wait time. While the service was fine, nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible, the food was just not up to par. Our shrimp appetizer came out after our pho and was hot tasty. The pho was also bland. The main reason we won't be going back anytime soon has to do with the extremely loud band playing. Granted, we probably should have noted before walking in that the lights were low and there was a stage set up, but goodness! I couldn't hear myself slurping noodles, let alone have a conversation. If in a bind, I may go back, but not if I can help it.
