  • Update: So after my disaster of an experience yesterday, my fiancĂ© called them to ask them to no longer contact him for any follow ups as he had no desire to be treated at a place that treated us in such a way. Later in the day, he received a voicemail from Dr. Wong himself attempting to apologize. However, it was not an apology for his behavior, it was an apology that we felt that way. He further explained how he was justified to talk to us the way he did because he is passionate about what he does. In this message he disclosed how serious he felt our conditions were and disclosed a lot of info about my daughter and myself. Having worked in healthcare before, his discussion of anything about me or my daughter to someone not on the disclosure list constitutes a HIPAA violation. Regardless of what he felt, his discussion of any "conditions" is a clear violation. His message repeatedly stated how he felt slighted by our attitudes and how he felt so frustrated that it came out poorly. This is a Dr that very clearly needs to work on his bedside manner if he is to continue practicing. Lecturing people is not a way to engage them in their care. In addition to his "apologetic" voicemail to my fiancĂ©, there was not a call to me apologizing for such behavior. Stay clear, I am 100% certain there are better, more ethical doctors out there to treat your pain. All this company wants to do is milk your insurance and you for more money.
