I've been going to Aradia on and off for about 2 years. When you first get there, the fit and confident instructors may throw you off. Coupled with the fact that our beginner's class started right after a level 8 class, it was a little daunting. But after you get pass your initial shyness and the occasional giggles at slapping your own ass, the magic of Aradia slowly seeps in. You start to realize that all the stretches and silly poses are coming together and that you're actually feeling sexy and confident as you do them. Mastering your first spin is like conquering the world as you feel you can do anything with the right heels and a good shimmy. It also doesn't hurt that you're actually putting in a lot of work--just ask your arms & legs the day after 10 sexy push ups (instructor Jessica does them slow enough to a count of 10), pole raises (lifting yourself up on the pole), hip circles on your tiptoes. The results are not always quick, as with any workout, you have to work at it and sometimes repeat levels to improve. But the result is a more confident, sexier you--plus, telling someone you can do a backwards chair spin is a great conversation starter :)
