  • We are never coming here again. Period. We have been looking at getting rats as pets again for a while now, and coming here and talking to the staff, I was assured their rats were of a high quality and they haven't had any issues with illness in the rats of all ages. Two rats were purchased here. One about 5 weeks of age, the other about 8-10 weeks. Within a week the younger one passed, and right now we're dealing with the second one being extremely ill. All we can do at this point is help him pass peacefully. Both have had horrible URIs, that medication has not been able to help or even mellow the symptoms. While I realize that these rats were bred for the purpose of being feeders, do you really want your reptiles to be eating ill rats? I wouldn't risk it. For pets or for feeders, don't waste your time here. You'll just end up with heartbreak and heavy medical bills for your pets.
