Diamond status with Hilton Honors means nothing to this Hilton property. My husband and I arrived early at 11 AM and expected the room not to be ready, which it wasn't but were told that it would be 45 min to 2 hour wait,( there is no lounge to log onto computers and wait) and the Tropicana would text my husband when it was ready. We took our luggage back to the car and walked for 5 HOURS waiting for the call in 100 plus temps. When we walked in and asked at 4 PM we were told "Oooops, giggle giggle, sorry but we forgot to call". We didn't go to the pool because we thought it would be a short period of time! The Diamond lounge then tells us that there IS a lounge we could have used. The Assistant Manager Jessica was happy to throw a $75 voucher at us but a money was not the point!
I would never stay here again, the staff is young, inexperienced and do not know the property. We are in room 1650
