  • What a treat! I booked my boyfriend and I a couples massage here for his birthday, and we had a wonderful experience. The booking process itself was easy. I sent an e-mail inquiry, and was contacted within the hour by a member of the staff. She worked with me to select the time, the services, and to go through the initial check-in process with me since we were both first time visitors. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated with our intake forms promptly. Our massage therapists each spent a few minutes with us separately to talk through what areas we wanted them to focus on before starting in. Unfortunately, I can't remember their names a few weeks after the fact, but we were both very happy with our service! I also appreciated that the room accommodated both tables so that we could be close to each other. (I've had a past couples massage experience at a certain big name chain, where we were in separate rooms that just had an open door between them. It was a little weird.) My only gripe about the experience had little to do with Centre Ave Massage itself--it's the parking situation. You'll be dealing with a classic East End Neighborhood parking hunt, though there does seem to be a fair amount of paid spots on the street on a Saturday morning. Anyway, I really like Centre Ave Massage. While I have a local place in my neighborhood that I like to visit for myself, I would absolutely return here the next time I need a couples massage.
