| - I know almost no one who gets their hair cut while traveling, but during a three-month residency in Las Vegas, that was not an option. I was too shaggy. I wanted something reasonable (not a casino salon) but not boring, simple but stylish. And I put my trust in other humans with hair to find that person.
Holly came up for multiple searches, both for women's short hair and bests. The reviews for her were realistic, not vague, and demonstrated she really has a broad range of clients and hair skills. And for a one-chair establishment, she got back to me very soon after I texted about an appointment. I committed.
This haircut was completely worth the bus across town and any OMG-not-my-usual anxiety. Holly listened well to how I described my hair and how I usually care for it, and showed a few pictures as we talked so we knew we were on the same page. She cut my hair both dry and wet, with clippers and scissors. Quick, clean, fun on top.
Why not a five star? Because it was a one-off haircut and to me, I'd have to get that same experience again to go five. Bookmarked for future trips...
