Easy to miss if you're not paying attention (and if there's no one seated outside, which is rare in the warmer months). Small place; perhaps "cozy" is the right word. Table are comfortably spaced, there's just not many of them. When they've got the patio open they probably at least double their seating. I would say the restaurant has character, it's a unique spot.
Service is basically fine, though once or twice they seemed perhaps a little overwhelmed. They maintained a good attitude, in any case.
The pizzas seem quite good to me, by current Charlotte standards: flavorful with fresh ingredients and a tasty, thin crust (wood fired?). My frequent dining companion says good things about some soup they have, I think it's chicken and pesto (and I didn't know you could reasonably use pesto as a soup ingredient). Another well-traveled friend did not have such high recommendation for their kebobs, unfortunately; I think he would describe them as "run of the mill at best."
I will continue to visit this restaurant, on the strength of the pizza alone.
