  • I loved the room, and the hotel is great, however, I believe that customer service plays a big part of these reviews. Probably the biggest part. Me and my family were having a stay-cation to just get away for a weekend and if I knew I would have this experience, I would of just stayed home. 1. When we got there, it took us 2 hours to get checked in, since supposedly "Hotwire" made a mistake. Try waiting in a lobby with two toddlers and a dog for 2 hours. 2. The treatment you get when you book from 3rd parties is like you're not worth staying here. The front desk clerk was very rude. I wish I wrote his name down. (We stayed here 09/09-09/10. And he checked us in at 3pm. Maybe that'll help the hotel give the right associate some coaching. 3. The stupid fire alarm kept going off after we took a hot shower. Now mind you, that you're not suppose to take the fire alarm out. So when we called downstairs to ask them to turn the alarm off, Misty rudely said "just take the piece out". Which stopped the alarm off course, but maintenance didn't come in until the next morning. Which brings me to point 4. He was one the most insulting guy ever. "You don't smell the smoke in the room", "it's ok if you're smoking". First of all, mind you I have two little on a that are in the room with us, and me and my husband both don't smoke, so for you to say that this is our fault, makes this experience even worse. The only time I smelled smoke in the room, was when you turn the A/C down because it's getting cold. Their A/C unit turns the heater on and it smells like burning cats. When he put the a/c unit back in, the alarm went off 3 mins after he left, and when I went downstairs looking for the maintenance guy, misty pointed at him and be "hid behind a wall" until I had to point out why in the world he's hiding. What are we? 5 years old? Smh And last but not least, dirty sheets on the pullout couch. I mean disgusting sheets from probably 3 weeks ago. Housekeeping came 2 hours later with new sheets. Smh! The only reason this hotel is getting 2 stars is because of Rosa, one of the food and beverage managers. She came to our room and apologized and was shocked from the story she heard from us. Now even though I should be asking for a full refund, Rosa brought us 4 up a very good breakfast. My kids loved it and just alone their happy faces made me atleast give another star. Four points, your hotel is beautiful and we would all appreciate if you could hire people that match your establishments.
