| - TLDR: no frills airline; most seats don't recline; great service; early departures; cheap in all aspects
Where else can you get a nonstop round-trip flight to Orlando from Vegas for $40? I'm pretty sure this was one of the better investments I made with this airline during a late-night online sale, where you will find the best deals. Now for this price, they're making a minimal amount of money on you so how are they getting paid?
Nothing is free except check-in and complimentary water on the plane. You can only bring a personal item on the plane as checked and carry-on luggage is a fee. Be sure to purchase 24 hours before flight as the fare will increase. Choosing a seat is a fee. Changing your flight and name on ticket will incur a fee. This location really doesn't care about baggage size. I've seen gigantic backpacks and small duffle bags pass through the gates, but maybe it depends on the agent. Since baggage isn't free, the front luggage counter/check-in won't be inundated with customers.
Boarding is 35 minutes before flight departure, but I've seen them board earlier than that. I usually only bring a personal item and put in the carry-on bin. If it's not a full flight, I like to change seats if available, although on rare instances and only to a seat in the back as these are the same price as your seat if not in the first 3 rows or the emergency exit aisle.
In-flight snacks and soda are free and buying in multiples will be cheaper. They are a cashless flight so don't even offer cash. Service is pretty good, especially with the clientele that frequent the airline.
Bring a sleep mask, some headphones, and something lie on because the seats are not that comfortable and the leg room is limited. But, if you're able to withstand the inconveniences, you can revel in the glory that is a $40 round trip flight to Orlando.
See you on Frontier!
