| - Go to any other one of the numerous furniture stores in Pineville like Haverty's or go to the furniture store in Hickory.
The GM Manager David Lecher is a LYING jerk. La-Z-Boy has the worst customer service ever. I came in and my #1 buying criteria was buying AMERICAN MADE office set. I do not trust having my skin exposed to chemicals on furniture made in Asia. My sales person assured me that the Kincaid line was all made in the USA. It took 3 1/2 months for my office furniture to arrive. In the mean time my sales rep was fired apparently. After almost 4 months, I actually called to find out where the hell my furniture was at, and was told it had been sitting in the warehouse, because it "fell through the cracks" because they fired my sales rep. Seriously?!
Finally, the Furniture is delivered and I notice a giant sticker on the bottom saying MADE IN VIETNAM. I immediately called and said this is not what was presented at the time of the sale. I explained I did not want the furniture, but would exchange it if they had anything made in USA. Keep in mind this is all wood furniture and the stickers are still on it and has not been used. The lady at the store said David would have to call me back about it. After 4 calls and 6 weeks I finally got a response from David... via EMAIL! He said he talked with my sales rep, which is a lie because he was fired months before, and said although the furniture was made overseas, it's fine, so they aren't replacing or exchanging it because it's good furniture. What?!?! I was LIED TO. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU PROMISED TO SELL ME.
This set was not cheap, but I don't care about the price, I just want "made in the USA" like I was promised. I called until David finally picked up the phone. David was the RUDEST persona I have ever dealt with and told me he didn't care about my concerns and said "Tough, we aren't taking it back". I really hope he reads this review.
Finally I've called corporate several times and they have not gotten back to me. Good job La-Z-Boy, you will never see a penny of my money or my families money again.
