  • With a name like Diablo's Cantina and the huge red Satan-lady on their building, who could resist? My wife and I sure couldn't and decided to have our meal at dusk in this finely adorned establishment. It sure seemed lively and the weather was nice so we asked for a patio seat. Unfortunately they only open that on the weekends so that was a no-go. Despite the place being very busy we were able to get a really comfortable booth seat in the back corner of the open air restaurant. While we weren't sitting outside a really nice breeze came through the restaurant since the entire front end of it was opened up so it was sort of like sitting outside. We were quickly greeted once we were seated by a friendly looking waitress who took our drink orders and we were able to use our free Yelp! check in drink. My wife ordered the big, beef burrito and I ordered the fajitas. We were very well attended to by our waitress who was not super friendly but not rude either. After about 20-25 minutes our food came out and it all looked pretty good, my wife enjoyed her enchiladas and I liked my fajitas as well, although I was unable to finish them (the portions are quite large). The Diablo sauce was very good, and very, very hot, so I didn't eat much of it, but I will say it was quite flavorful. All in all Diablo's is a pretty nice place to eat but I didn't find the food to be all that exceptional. Everything was alright but I think there are probably better places to spend your money for the price you pay for the food here. When we decided to go here I did check it out on Yelp! and it was rated 3 stars and I think that is a perfect rating for it. We would really like to check out the roof exterior seating so if we come back here when we make our next trip to Vegas we'd go here again on a weekend to see what that is like. Note: The chips and salsa are pretty good but the fact that they charge extra ($6 if memory serves) for chips and salsa is a bit ridiculous I think)...
