  • I ordered a bridesmaid dress in May. The sales lady was indifferent and flat. It's now October. Last week, the bride messaged me to say my dress was ready. I called to double check before driving all the way down there. Someone answered the phone, took my info and put me on hold for a very long time. When she came back, she scolded me over and over for not picking up the dress "when it came in at the end of Sept." (They take months to order and scold me because I didn't know?) She also scolded me for having a balance and told me I had to hurry and get there before they closed at 5. (It was 10:30 am!) When I went to pick it up, she sucked her teeth when I produced a card to pay for the balance. She seemed shocked I had the money to pay for it?? Maybe she thought I wasn't coming to pick it up. I don't know. It was so weird, it was funny. I walked out laughing to myself. As for the dress, the fit makes me look like a bell. After paying hundreds for a dress, an alterations bill for shortening the length is expected. A bill to alter the ugly appearance of a dress is not, especially after being treated so rudely. It's supposed to be from the "Alfred Angelo Disney Fairytale Wedding Collection." It does not look authentic. I thought I could wear it again, not a chance. I'll only be wearing it for the wedding. **update Oct 31, 2015. I'm currently with my alterations lady. She says she strongly feels this dress is a knock off--which is fine but they're fronting it as a Disney dress with possibly fake tags and everything! She says the tags are not authentic to the other Alfred Angelo dresses she has seen. I'm so disappointed in this purchase.
