| - My husband and I had our wedding here this last weekend. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and out. The front desk and bell service staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a princess suite with a strip view. The room was a great size but looked like it needed a fresh coat of paint and new floors. Not bad though and great view.
We first met with the Events Manager, Hava, back in December. She was great at responding to me immediately when I had any questions. When we went to sign our contract, the packages were not completely described to our understanding. We did not fully understand that the food and beverage minimum ONLY pertained to the food and beverage by the catering service of the hotel. That should be described better.
Our coordinator, Sandra, did a great job and was very accommodating. She was very sweet, easy to work with and looked gorgeous at our wedding.
The only thing that I really had a problem with is that the hotel does not provide storage for their wedding services. It was extremely inconvenient for us, as we had to store all of our decor, including the centerpieces in our hotel room until decorating started in the reception area. Then, it all had to be brought back up to our room immediately following the reception. This caused a bit of frustration and chaos.
The staff was fantastic and very friendly up until it was time to close down the wedding, in which case, I could see the frustration in their faces as they were trying to kick everyone out of the restaurant. I don't really hold that against them since I understand that they probably wanted to go home.
Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend the hotel for future events and weddings.
