  • We went to Countdown Escape Rooms tonight. Kid booked the Poseidon room. It was supposed to be the 4 of us. They didn't tell us that other people could be added to our group but then they went and added three people we didn't know once we arrived. Not wanting to be locked in an office room size space with strangers, I sat out and read reviews of the place. Turns out that for weeks people have been complaining about how hot the Poseidon room is. I texted kid to see how she was doing and she said she 'gave up 15 minutes ago because it is so hot you can't even think'... WEEKS these people have been receiving complaints, that have been seen by the management (since they have responded right here on Yelp) and they charge $35 a head and they still can't fix the air conditioning? Not cool. They can afford it. The rent in this crap part of town is cheap enough. What an awesomely crappy first time Game Room experience for the family all around. To top it all off, kid told me they give the soloution away at the end. #dumbmarketingtactic
