| - First review? Really?
I've been here 3 times now, and had a good experience each time!
The first two visits I came as a walk in, the last visit my friend and I made an appointment. I never had to wait, the staff are very nice and welcoming (but not in a pushy way).
The salon itself is nice, clean, well-kept. The front is all windows, so you get a view of the waterfront. They have 8-10 stations, plenty of room. Oh and there is a bathroom!
They use Opi and Esse polish, let you take lots of time picking out your colour.
The pedi chairs have massage function! You get a foot spa, nails done, and a 5 min lower leg massage (the last time they used hot stones, ahh lovely).
The mani portion is also well done. Very gentle, do a good job with application of the polish. There are drying machines, and when you first sit down, they give you a little shoulder massage :)
All this fun and relaxation only costs $35. if you pay cash, that includes tax. Once they gave me a cash discount ($33?) but didnt get that my last visit. Still totally worth it
I think its common to get a mani-pedi in Toronto for less than $40. But the quality and service can vary. If you live near the waterfront and want to find a good 'local' go here. Its a really comfortable atmosphere.
