| - Had the chance to visit Target's brand new Market Mall location and I have to say, I was kind of impressed. I don't have much to compare this to, as the last time I visited a Target was in Kalispell, MT some years back and it was late and it was to grab cheap John Cusack movies and be on our way, so I consider this my first actual visit as an adult, and not a spoiled kid on vacation in Florida or something.
It was buzzing about, but not so busy one couldn't move. I was especially stricken by the women's clothing. Tons of cute clothes for spring and summer. I had to actually enlist some self control and give myself a budget, because I could have easily walked out of there with armfuls of new things. I will totally be back though.
Staff were fairly friendly, if not a little preoccupied with the busy-ness and trying to stay on top of things, I guess. More plentiful than most department stores, though I doubt it stays like that forever. I left with two summer dresses, some shorts, and a pair of flats. Will totally be back for more cute things before I head on a trip later this month.
Prices are definitely reasonable. Average department store reasonable, comparable to Forever 21 or something if I had to draw such a comparison. Less annoying high school girls, things covered in tacky studs, crummy store soundtracks, though.
As for the rest of the store, I had to restrain myself from buying alllll the kitchen gadgets, and houseware stuff looked decent from what I could tell.
All in all, I suppose this is a welcome addition to Calgary's soul sucking malls, and I will visit here when in need of THINGS.
Ps. FIRST TO REVIEW, SUCKAS
