  • Guys, if you're new to town and are looking for a good quality barbershop somewhat near Arcadia, I'd strongly recommend this place. Hell, if you're old to town and are also looking for a good quality barbershop, I'd strongly recommend this place. I decided to look around for a new barber after my last barber understood "Just a slight trim for my good buddy's wedding" as "I'm joining the Marines tomorrow". With my barber having no concept of cowlicks, I ended up looking like the lovechild of Alfalfa and that girl from Bend It Like Beckham. Good thing I found V's. Even though it's a small, local chain, the one in Arcadia still feels like an old-time barbershop but somehow modernized for the 21st century, including a good ol' shoeshine corner. My barber mapped my scalp in no time - he immediately could tell where all the cowlicks were (ok, so I've got several) and cut my hair just right so it was short enough with nothing sticking out in random angles. I've been back a few more times and I've gotten a great haircut each go around. Minus a star for the price ($20), but maybe I'm just used to cheap haircuts and looking like Alfalfa and Bend It Like Beckham girl's wayward lovechild. 4 stars.
