  • Sometimes you have no opportunity to research where your loved ones are released from the hospitals. We rely on referrals and recommendations of hospital staff or doctors. In my fathers case we were referred by the hospital staff. He has not progressed and though I believe he is partly responsible for his slow progress to recover the staff is more responsible for his delay in care. They are lazy, and slow to provide proper care and over time prefer to "ship you out". (After 30 days they were concerned that his healthcare coverage would end, which was not the case). The case manager harassed us to move him. Glad to be out of there and hopefully he will get better care elsewhere. The nearly entire staff is Filipino and are additionally very hard to communicate to every day. Great networking by their community advocates for sure. Everyone must know someone on the inside...BEWARE
