Staff was friendly enough, but they are pushy. I turned my paperwork in weeks early while waiting for my son during his cleaning. When I came in for my appointment, they found my completed paperwork but they hadn't submitted for my records with my previous dental office. My last dentist is located in Washington state, so with a 9 AM appointment, or was only 6 AM at home.
When they were not successful in obtaining my records right then, they insisted on doing X-rays. I told them no, my insurance wouldn't cover another set AND I didn't want to take extra X-rays for health reasons (just had them done at previous appointment in WA). Since I wouldn't authorize more X-rays they went over every tooth in my mouth, wiggling, poking, and LOOKING for problems to repair. I have never been treated in such a way. I told them i wasn't having any pain or problems. I told them I go to the dentist every 6 months. I told them my history including tooth number. I take an active roll in my health and oral hygiene.
I look around at the fancy office and equipment - they have to pay for all that someway. I guess they were hoping to pay for it with my insurance.
