| - First-time visit for our dog, had a slight emergency and they were able to take us right away - 2 stars. Both the doctor and radiologist read the x-rays wrong, and because it was on a weekend, we were forced to take her to the emergency clinic for what turned out to be unnecessary surgery with an EXTREMELY high price tag. OK, mistakes happen, so we agreed to not hold it against him. When we took our dog back to have her staples removed, we asked the doctor about some issues we were having with ticks, and asked what he recommended we use. He told us not to use anything, and to just keep picking them off. Ummm......OK, he's the doctor, so that's what we continued to do, until we ended up with a mini-infestation of ticks in our house. We finally broke down and bought some Frontline, and the ticks started dying off almost immediately. I know this guy has been around for a while, but our whole experience with him leaves me wondering if he really knows what he is talking about. We do not plan on taking our dog back to him again.
