I was visiting from Las Vegas, where we have a plethora of food options to choose from. I am spoiled by the variety and therefore hard to impress. Citizen Public House did impress, though.
We arrived around 7pm on a Sunday night and didn't think we would need reservations. The wait wasn't long (20 min), but I would suggest reservations.
We started with the Mac and cheese with tomato relish. I can't say enough good things about this dish. The Gorgonzola gave it a slight tang, and the tomato relish blew my mind.
I had the scallops and my date had the rack of lamb. I'm not a fan of lamb, but he said it exceeded his expectations. The scallops definitely exceeded mine. They were plump and cooked to perfection. The plating was both beautiful and delicious. I am recommending this place to all of my family in the area.
