We stopped in for a late-afternoon brunch on Sunday. We were told there was a wait, but an attentive hostess watched the lunch counter for us and came up with two seats in half the promised time.
I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, which where the moistest, fluffiest, best pancakes that have ever been in my mouth. The lemon ricotta topping and blueberry jam were sweet, tart, and delicious. Both tasted homemade.
My companion ordered the corned beef hash, which he rated as good but it seemed to be the same recipe that Monty's (also Food Fight) uses.
The doughnuts and pastries floating around looked delicious and there were a wide variety available.
