rev:text	My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh and were searching for a great brunch spot. This restaurant popped up in our searches and we decided to give it a try. It ended up being quite possibly the best brunch we've ever had! The quintessential French bistro is small and charming and is tucked away in the West End. We had to wait approximately fifteen minutes for a table and it was worth every second! We ordered the quiche lorraine and eggs benedict (each with lyonnaise potatoes) and a side of the Belgian waffle with a berry compote. Both the quiche and the eggs benedict were good. Really good. But we've had really good before. The lyonnaise potatoes, on the other hand, were amazing. Both my husband and I have never tasted potatoes so good! The waffle was equally as delicious - certainly not your typical Belgian waffle. It was sweet but not too sweet and the berry compote added just the right touch. And just when you think it couldn't get better, let me mention the restaurant's resident service dog who hangs out and ensures you're enjoying your meal. And the owner is no different! A sweet elderly man who wants nothing more to serve his customers a delicious and authentic French meal. And he is certainly doing just that. My only complaint would be that the (reasonable) serving sizes left me wanting more! To be fair, I think I'd want more regardless of the plate size! If I could, I'd give this place 6 stars - it was one of the best brunch meals I've ever had and it has me wanting to plan a trip back to Pittsburgh just to have an excuse to come here again. We'll DEFINITELY be back!
