  • Whether to park for free and take the Rapid to the airport, or pay to park near the airport was our going-on-vacation question. The day of our return was going to be jam-packed, so for time efficiency that day, we made a reservation and pre-paid to leave our car at Park 'N Fly for the week. Upon arrival, the rep at the entrance explained that the lot was being re-striped, and instructed us to double-park our car behind another car, and leave our keys inside. Hmm, so much for having a reservation, and we really didn't want to leave our car with the keys inside for a week (we don't valet park for dinner, shows, nothing; we will park down the street and hoof it). OK, but you can't park where there is no space, so we told the rep that we would park somewhere else, and how could she provide us with a refund. She called the manager, who came over, and without hesitation, told us that there were some parking spaces, directed us to them, we parked, the shuttle picked us up, we went to the airport, boarded the plane, and had an enjoyable vacation free of worry about a car.
