Just called to order some take out. The lady flat out rejected us on the phone and said "We're not accepting any orders - kitchen is overloaded." Hey no problem lady - I'll take my $$$ elsewhere.
While I understand it's a busy day today (Mother's Day), it's not the customers fault that the kitchen is "overloaded". That your management failing miserably at their job. If you don't have enough common sense to staff extra help in the kitchen on a day where you'll probably have increased traffic, you shouldn't be in the restaurant business.
